Disaster Strikes!
So apparently, I'm not allowed to leave LA anymore. The first time I left, the ceiling in me and J's bathroom collapsed. I was actually home the time the bathroom tub was leaking, but most recently, there was a fire in our kitchen oven. I'm not sure what the roomies are going to do while I'm in London for most of December...

Kindred Spirits
At the drive thru Starbucks today, Dan, with a pleasant voice took my coffee order. Once I arrived at the window, I noticed a very interesting tattoo on his arm as he is handing coffee to the girl in the car in front of me. When I reached the window, I told him I liked his tattoo. He was surprised and asked if I knew what it was. DUH! You are a Death Eater. I love Harry Potter. : )

Summer in LA is the best
Summer = vacations! Well this year, I got lucky. I don't have to go anywhere, everyone is coming to me! This makes summer much more cost effective, plus I get to be a tourist in my own city, which should be interesting. I will be averaging two visitors a month in July, August, and September, so I'm trying to find fun things to do with all these people besides just going to see the Hollywood sign ten times. Here is what I have so far:
Sites to See:
Hollywood Sign
Hollywood and Highland, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Walk of Fame
Venice Beach
Santa Monica Pier/3rd Street Promenade
Malibu/Driving through the Santa Monica Mountains
Studio Tours of Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony, or Universal
Universal City Walk
Getty Center, Getty Villa, LACMA, MOCA
Rodeo Drive/Beverly Hills
Griffith Park Observatory
Hollywood Forever Cemetery/Pierce Brothers Westwood Memorial Park
Westwood Village
Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels
Walt Disney Concert Hall
Reagan Presidential Library
Arclight Cinemas
The Grove
Places to Eat:
The Griddle
4 N 20
Diddy Rieces
Farmer's Market
Suggestions welcome, and much appreciated!
I remembered a dream!
So, I very, very rarely remember my dreams, but this morning I remember bits and pieces of one. Corelyn and Andrew were getting married again, and this time I was a bridesmaid, along with friends Meg, Mary, Katie, and new additions Jen and Jennie. Except my dress was reallllly ugly, and also way to big. I was very late to the wedding, getting ready in a hurry, and then standing with the other girls, I realized how terrible I looked. The dresses were very teal colored, and mine buttoned in the front, which is just a bad idea for a dress in general.
I blame this dream on Corelyn, just in general ; ), Jennie for also having a weird wedding dream, and Jen for introducing me to the show Hitched or Ditched.
